Our Story
Chibi is our Inspiration
My name is Ralph. I am the founder of a new non-profit which I named after Chibi, my amazing Pekingese. She is currently 15 years young. When she was younger she experienced a massive injury that put her in severe pain and required emergency surgery. The surgery cost was nearly $10,000. At that time I was in poor financial shape. I had just finished nursing school and was paying my loans as well as my bills for moving into my first apartment ever. I had to find a way to pay for the surgery or put her down. If it wasn't for the help I received from my mother and sister, Chibi would not be with us. 13 years later Chibi is happy and healthy and has traveled with me for over 10 years to 33 states and state Capitals, 33 National Parks, and even to Canada. I created this non-profit because there are very few options available for people to be able to afford emergency and even non-emergency care for their pets, especially those with poor or rebuilding credit. Chibi is like a child to me, and I would do anything and everything I can to keep her happy and healthy. Our goal is to be able to assist people whose pets are in need of emergency care as well as connect with resources to provide low-cost and/or no-cost care for pets.
